I went to a different shop before here had trouble with a CVT transmission they told me the pan had a crack and they don't work on CVT transmissions I called this place they told me they did work on CVT transmissions turns out the transmission didn't even have a crack was just loose pressure gauge they fix it quick and cheap honest people and good work my car is smoother then ever thanks guys

I went to Aamco this morning to have a noise checked out on my car and Michael at the front desk went Above and Beyond with Outstanding customer service! Without an appt my car was checked out by a mechanic with good results. They were all super helpful and they made my day so much better. The AAMCO at 6900 NE Highway 99 in Vancouver (Hazel Dell) are the guys I've entrusted my 2009 Ford Focus maintenance needs to since March of 2024. In the past month, they replaced my power steering pump and the hoses after I'd noticed a continuing and growing leak in my driveway with a loud whine whenever I barely turned the steering wheel, which progressively got worse. The whine returned after several weeks only louder, as did the leak. I called them and was told to bring the car back in. The pump was defective and under warranty. The guys replaced it and to ensure that I wouldn't have any further problems, they kept it a bit longer to test drive it several times and let it sit to see if there were any further leaks. I'm happy to report that there have been no further leaks and the steering is as smooth and quiet as when the car was brand new. AAMCO is much more than just a transmission shop, they're a total car care shop. Their prices are fair and competitive, their customer service is stellar. Once again, I am and will continue to be a returning customer! Thank you Tomas and your guys for finding and addressing the source of the whine and leak, ensuring that I'll have no further problems with my power steering. As always, thank you Michael. My car broke down because of a transmission problem. Went to the transmission mechanic and he told me a 5k-10k rebuild. Ask him if I buy used parts, can he replace it for me. He said no. It would mess with the shop's reputation. Then I got a suggestion to go to this place from just asking around. They inspected the transmission and agreed it needs a complete rebuild. And they’re willing to use transmission parts that I bought. It only takes them a day to fix it. They called me the next morning and said it's good to go. With use part, (who knows if the used part is damaged) replacing it can be a bit of a risk, so they combine the two. Using and replacing certain components. This ensures that everything is inspected and fixed accordingly. If you have an older car like me, you can try this strategy. Use part are cheap. They can use its components. Just make sure the 5th VIN model letter is the same. ( try to find low mildtage and 6-12-month volenty )
